Free housing vs rent or house payment saves what 7200 or more a year, free health care, food Stamps, disability check, tax returns many more time than they paid in plus doing a side job for cash. Add all the benefits up and they are getting a good income for not working and don't have the expense of going to work so come out better Tham many working people.
For some it is a great lifestyle.

SSI disability if your flat on your back only, because it's really welfare plain & simple.

Waaaay to many ducking out of being productive on that scheme...Example, there is a veteran 50 year old neighbor who never saw one minute of combat who claims to have PTSD, yeah right....Constantly smokes weed, packs a revolver around on his hip, and has stalked every woman around here while their husbands work for a living.

This welfare handout has done far more in creating menaces to society, with lots of time on their hands, verses getting the people help who truly need it.
