I hate to admit it, but I in the market for lead free 30-30 (or 32 Win. Special) lead free ammo so that I'm California legal. It's nice having the model 94 option available to pack on the horse, or have the kids pack through the brush. Here is what I have found searching on line so far, I would appreciate your input or any other options you know of. Thanks,

Federal ammo is good. Barnes bullets are great. I shoot TSX in my 300 WM. I would buy federal. If they dont have a limit buy 10-15 boxes. They wont get cheaper.

all good brands of good ammo, if you have to order it from online I would buy a box of each.

figure out which one shoots best from your gun.

then stock it as deep as you can afford when you find what shoots good for your gun.

or if you can buy one local see how it shoots in your gun if it is satisfactory stock it deep.
