Awesome! I hope you get a big one and have fun! That reminds me, I need to take the snowmobile in to one of my baits and move it before the snow melts!
Cold as ice!

I have never done it but it sounds like fun I guess, especially if you can combine it with a little fishing.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Buster, you will be in the same general area. Mike's area is a little south and east. Lots of colored bears and big ones. I had never even seen a black bear in the wild. There was rarely a 30 to 45 minute period when I didn't have an animal in front of me. Never did see a sow with just 2 cubs. They all had 3 or 4 in tow. The very first night I had an absolute monster boar come in and of course he never gave me a shot with the bow. Mike was very disappointed I didn't get a shot at him but he was happy I didn't take an iffy one. The third sit I had a very brightly colored cinnamon boar come in, almost as big. Of course I missed him.The fourth night I shot my black standing in exactly the same spot and center punched him. Mike and I lost tracking light and came back early the next morning to find him. As mike was off to my side he spotted the big cinnamon I had missed. I took two steps to my left and he was gone. He had started to eat my bear. The big one I saw the first night was killed the next spring. He weighed 445 pounds on Mikes scale. He was easily identified by a large triangular scar over one eye. I easily saw 30 to 40 different animals over 6 sits.

Good luck ole boy and have a ball. I'd give most everything to get a shot at hunting again up in Northern Ontario for black bear. It's awesome up there and probably better where your going!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Nope takes 5 years to get a fall tag This right here. I don't like to wait 5 years between hunts so save my money and head north. The only nice thing about waiting 5 years is that there isn't as many hunters.
