https://store.nwctp.com/products/nys-wco-certification-trainingSo hear a website that you can order your course on. You can order the course book, I highly suggest as the course book has ALOT more information that the online course and some test questions are in the book and not in the course online. BUY IT. It’s only like $55 extra on top of the $200 course. It takes a while but the better you know the course, the better you’ll do on the test and in the field.
The biggest part of ADC is repairs. If you’re not good with tools, get good. I’ve used more hand tools than traps in ADC and to be honest those tools are more expensive than traps. Saws, drills, ladders, etc.
I would call an ECO in your region and talk to him/her. They’ll help you and also can give you more resources if needed.
Once your pass your course you send the certification to the DEC region wildlife bureau and they’ll confirm it and then send you the liscence application. It’s a yearly license that ends in September each year. It’s $50 for a general license and free if you get a municipal license but you have to be an LLC with HIGH insurance coverage to get a lot of municipal contracts.
