Oregon charges for the cards to report cites species. $37.50 per card. Otter card has 15 spaces, "All-Oregon bobcat card" $37.50 and 5 spaces, western Oregon bobcat card $37.50 and 15 spaces.
So yes, Oregon charges for cites tagging. I'm sure it is nominal for what the administrative costs are for supporting the program within the ODFW.

Our state just changed this season. We no longer have a charge for CITES Tags. Before, they were $2 something each.

Should be charging them. If they sent their bios and techs out in the field to collect otter, bobcat etc it would cost thousands per animal. Therefore they should be paying us for the data
