Made in China 4 Thousand less than Yamaha or Polaris

CFMOTO / AND ARENT they all made with Chinese parts anyway?

Honda is Japan and they have ben building them for along time.

I always believed China wasn't quality but Japanese stuff was better?

330, Im a big Polaris fan and tend to stay away those Chinese knock offs, but the cfmotos have great reviews and from multiple atv groups on Facebook people seem to have many good things to say about cfmoto.

I fully agree with your statement, but I’d say it’s a safe bet more than half the items you and the rest of us purchase are from China.

I know but a known Chinese product is a good place to start. It seemed that all of a sudden some years ago so many things became made in China and our choices were limited. It needs to change!

Do they have a service department and parts at that dealership ?

I never have work on my Polaris ATVs other than change the oil.

The Chinese cheap ones I bought for my kids were a constant project.

My Dad went into Japan during the occupation just after the bomb. We conquered them and became a great Allie and their products became best in the world and our shared manufacturing technology did it!

The Jap engineers are on a higher level than most

Yamaha and Honda spend alot of money on R&D

I'm a fan of Yamaha and have owned a few Hondas over the years


One thing to consider is the Chinese also know the Jap stuff is superior and have no shame in copying proven designs and reliable parts . In fact they are good at it . So a Chinese machine is perhaps getting close to being on par with the Jap stuff now days ?....... IDK I'm still afraid to try

The problem with a lot of the Chinese ATVs used to be a lack of consistency in parts used. You couldn’t just look up your year and model to order a carb kit or wheel bearing. They used whatever was on the shelf to finish the production run so you end up trying to describe what the part looks like and usually a series of triple and error in ordering. Not sure if they are still doing that or not.

I have had Honda rancher TRX350s for years and years with little or no trouble and personally wouldn’t buy anything else.

A good friend has had a cfmoto side by side on the farm for over a year now and no problems at all. It gets used hard. Local honda dealer sells an services them.

I bought a 20 hp Honda motor a year or so back for a project. Was surprised when it said made in China on it.

we have a lot of smaller Honda single cylinder engines at work, and now what was once made in Japan most of the the new ones say made in china

My brother had a CF/moto side by side and failed in less than 2 hrs, dealer couldn't get parts and eventually got rid of it at quite a loss. Another friend in Alaska bought one, ATV, and after raving about it for a year he got rid of it because it was not dependable. The old saying buyer beware comes to mind. I think eventually CFmoto will have a dependable product but I would not be buying one yet.

Support China?? Yeah they need more money to buy more weapons to thump us with.
