How are things looking up in Glenn's Ferry? Lots of fur? Lots of buyers?

I asked on the Idaho chat thread. The only response so far was lots of beautiful cats. They don't read bids until tomorrow noonish.

Bidding process was delayed a bit due to a snow storm. Some of the buyers were late getting to the sale due to the weather, so Rusty gave them extra time to put in bids. Not sure what the new time line is.

Lots more fur than the January sale. Looked like most of the major buyers were there. Rusty posted a nice video on FB doing a walk around showing the tables of fur.

I’m glad the buyers had extra time to grade the fur. Hopefully prices on most items will be worth the wait.

First, thank you for the hard work and effort, and also the huge amount of time spent to make the auction happen.'s We are grateful to have a place to sell our furs and we really enjoy the trip to Glenn's Ferry each year. Any guess as to when averages and individual lot prices will be posted? Will they be posted on facebook? The ITA website or here on this forum? Some impatient soul had to ask, I guess it might as well be me. blush

Patience! crazy I'm sure Rusty will have them up soon. We didn't get out of there till quite late last night. I didn't get home till 1:30am, ouch! I can tell you cat prices were good. Very good. Personally I averaged over $500 on a large lot of nothing special. We had excellent clearances and lots of craft stuff too. I'll leave the rest for Rusty.

Trappers who had cats at the auction are going to very pleased. Coyotes a lot better than Fallon. Just my guess of course.

Top cat was fifteen hundred and something, everything was very late and so stuff like that was not announced at the sale, at least not to the normal big to do. I skipped out on the last of the packing up because I had a couple hours farther than Jumper to get home and didn't know how the roads were going to be (good, snowing around New Meadows but the roads were clear) and didn't make it home until 2 AM. I know there was a single coyote with a $125 bid that was no saled, I believe it would have been the top lot coyote if it had sold, but don't know that for sure. Cats did very well. Beaver also. All the big buyers and almost all the small buyers that are usually there were there, even though some didn't make it until the second day due to road closures.
