I have 2 ducks that have started laying in their nest boxes. The temperature is supposed to get down in the 20's this week. Should I be concerned if so what should I do?

They'll still hatch] if she decides to set on them.
..it's like wild geese laying out.if makes you feel better just take them in tonight and put them back out when the weather gets better at night.
That's what I'm going to d with my guineas eggs just for peace of mind. I want o hatch them and I don't ant gem freezing solid. They probably won't but just to be sure...

IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !

Thanks for the info Cathryn. I believe I will bring them in on the coldest nights. It is unusual to get below freezing this time of year here.

I checked some hatching egg prices

Jeez, could almost buy live chicks for the same price

I think I am going to try and find some guinea eggs local and maybe put 2 doz in the incubator later this spring
