tanks cost a lot of money. thats why. war is profitable.

Zelensky has had both hands out begging for free stuff since this started. It has very little to do with the actual war and much more to do with the exchange of money and high-dollar equipment.
Eh...wot?

Wolfie, to me the weapons you described (javelins and TOWs) sound like defensive weapons whereas tanks are offensive weapons. My thought is that Z needs offensive weapons for their spring offensive to drive the Rus out of Uke territory. The "again" part is because we keep promising but not delivering.

Tanks are excellent for keeping your own people in line and yourself in power incase protest break out from being lead by an actor. He’s held the Russians off for over a year the people love the guy where do you come up with this fantasy world?

Wolife- Are you sure those javelins have been so bad*** over there? The way I understand it, the battery packs need to be charged up and the AFU biys had a good number of them not go off when they needed. And its' a javelin a "one shot and your done" weapon? So if you're using it against a building instead of a tank and you don't drill the guys your shooting at, what's the next move if you can't reload it? Not like of the old WWII or Korea bazooka where they were reloadable. Check out this Patrick Lancaster video. Some on tman say this is all staged for Lancaster to video but if you want to talk about spent American portable anti-armor weapons, there appears to be different LAWs seen at minutes 7:43, 14:12, 14:21, 14:54, and 15:29 (2 of them). At minute 15:27 two shot Javelins are shown. I don't think these were being shot at tanks in this village but other houses where Wagner guys were shooting from. One shot and you're out, unless you have more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coXtU4b63_cAnd Law Dog is correct, a lot of tanks on both sides are being used for direct artillery fire in support of infantry movement. A tank can hold a lot more shells than single shot LAW or Javelin...

He’s held the Russians off for over a year the people love the guy where do you come up with this fantasy world? In the two most recent conflicts tanks have been little more than road blocks, cheap shoulder fired missiles and drones have devastated heavy armor. Tanks best use is no longer fighting in major conflicts, atleast thats the way it appears.

This is what happens when the AFU runs out of those one-shot-and-done weapons and the enemy still has some equipment. I'm not sure what '"city" (if you can call mostly rubble a city anymore) but what's working that "building" is probably a Russian APC that has a 30mm auto cannon. Bad news for anyone fighting from those floors... https://twitter.com/Chadyrov11/status/1636735048534700032
