I don't recall seeing this posted here earlier.
If it was, sorry for the repeat, but I found it interesting, maybe you will / did too.
Cheers

Sounds good. Hopefully they crank out a bunch and fill the shelves. Plus, Dear Remington, please make a butt ton of .35 Rem and bring the price tag down. Thank you! grin grin

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I was never much of a Rem ammo fan , but all of my ammo buying life which started the same year they were sold 1993 they have been owned by an investment firm that was only in it for the money , you hear that in the interviews

glad to hear there is good jobs making ammo there again

maybe just not making them to store shelves just yet , here with rifle legal in most of the state the number of slugs going to shelves is way down.

Thanks!
Iowa is open to various rifles too nowadays, but I've stuck to my slug gun.

Both Remington Ammunition and Remarms appear to be headed in the right direction. Both back to the products that made Remington famous. Used their products in the past and will use in the future. Just waiting on the 17 Remington to return to production.

Shot some Remington core lokts tipped out my 7mm rem mag yesterday and was shooting 3/4 to 1/2" groups at a 100 yds. That's good enough for me.

I am slug hunting this next year , had to for a lot of years

I bought a M37 featherweight deer slayer 20ga this year because it is the gun my great uncle carried the 27 years I hunted with him before he passed
I always said if I found a gun just like Uncle Bill's I was going to buy it , I was never going to get the original his son has it.
I this next year I am hunting with the deer slayer

I didn't shoot anything this last year not for opportunity , I could have shot a few , I was mentoring my cousins kid and I couldn't get him to pull the trigger on anything

With the original 25 gr HP, not with the 20 gr. everyone is using today.

My .375 loved the 270 grain core lokt better than any hand load I tried to feed it.

Regular Core-Lokts were the original premium bullets. I've shot a lot of deer with 150g PSP's out of my 30-06 and they really perform well. I've recovered several over the years that were just under the skin on the offside. They were all perfectly mushroomed and had very high weight retention. I weighed them but can't remember the actual numbers right now but it was more than 90% weight retention.

I've used the 200g RN's in .35 Rem forever too and they are also great performers.

corelocks 170gr 30-30 was one of the few Rem ammos I bought , not sure I even saw another brand of 30-30 on the shelf in a store in WI till maybe 5 years ago. I am sure they were there I just never saw them.
my marlin loved those
