Who’s watching it, never knew so many Nations even had baseball teams always thought soccer was their thing or something else besides baseball. Japan plays Mexico tonight then the USA plays the winner after that (tomorrow I think) for the championship. Mexico beat us the other day and they say Japan is tough should be interesting.

It’s played every 4 years.

Yes, many nations have solid teams and players. Watched a few innings the other night with Wainright pitching. He is still very effective. Couple long and hard hit home runs.

I've been watching, Trea Turner is having a good series, good to know he is going to be playing for the Phillies. I watched a couple spring training games and I must say I like the new rules with the pitch clock and the batter having to be ready, it really speeds up the game. I also like the fact they can't shift the infielders like they were doing, It will put more offense in the game and make it more exciting.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

It’s funny many of the Hispanic players play for their home countries, the Cubans hand pick their teams they let US Cuban players play on their team only if the don’t badmouth Cuba.

The game was held in Miami some fans wore shirts and held up signs against Cuba but they had to take them down ushers walking around policing the crowds. Lots of Hispanics had American flags they held up.

Very exciting ending. Japan has been scoring a lot of runs so we will see how this series goes.

I was surprised Mexico has such a good team. Not a lot of Mexican mlb players over the years, especially names I recognized.

It was a great game.. I was pulling for Japan to win the game. The only thing I was disappointed with was that Giovanny Gallegos blew the game for Mexico. Gallegos is one of the St. Louis Cardinals closing pitchers, so I was disappointed in him losing the game. The Cardinals are my team.

Who is everyone's favorite MLB teams?

Not really a big fan we can’t get the Twins here our local cable would not renew Fox sport North but they can raise the price for my cable anyway. LOL We watch a few teams if nothings on and the playoffs that’s about it.

Should be a fun game tonight will see if we can beat Japan but they are a good team it won’t be easy.

Gallegos has caused me to yell at the TV more often than not lol.
I despise the clown. He suck’s period.
The bigger the spot, the more he will suck.
Makes my temples throb just thinking about him!

Have not watched the series at all.
We don’t get Fox Sports.
Sounds like Goldschmidt and Arenado have had a good series.

The USA vs Venezuela game was a back and forth game.

I’m a cubs fan,,, was pulling for schwarber to come alive and he did indeed. Most of us cub fans are still pretty sore about how they dismantled the team.

Phillies fan, the Phillies are happy to have Schwarber as I think they will be happy to have shortstop Turner too. When Harper is cleared to play they should have a decent lineup.
