Get about a week per set. Mine come through the VA as is service connected. Rayovac is the brand name on mine. My newest set eats them faster and are physically smaller. 312LC8A is the newest ones They aren't interchangable either. P13 is the other set and last much longer.

Drifter, is the 312 and the other one you mentioned interchangeable??

too many years on the SWAT team way before hearing protection was the norm. those darn flash bangs will destroy your hearing along with the massive amounts of shooting. Glad they have the head coms now. not an issue with that gear.

I buy mine at Walmart, I usually buy the biggest pack available. Most times I am using Duracell, but sometimes Rayovac are less expensive. I use size 13 and they last 7-8 days.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Without mine I can't hear a siren until they are about on my bumper. Don't wear em in high noise areas as it speeds up your loss. Loss is cumulative as well and is caused by nerve damage which doesn't heal either.

Rayovac 312 from walmart. You might want to get your hearing aids checked for moisture in them. I was having problems with them doing the same thing batteries would only last 24 hours, took them in since they were under warranty, and they changed the internal part due to excess moisture. Mine are behind the ear. Now I have a small plastic jar with dry packs in them that I put my hearing aids in every night, no problem since then.

Wife badgered me into getting hearing aids a few months ago.
I got the re chargeable ones-very happy with those.Put them on the charger when go to bed,put them on in morning and they last until I go to bed at night. If I take them off during the day (if working outside with machinery) I put them on the charger and they are at full charge in about 10 minutes.
Amazing to be able to hear stuff I didnt even know I wasnt hearing before.

You like the hearing aids I assume? I walk up to people wearing them, cover my mouth and say how are you and their response is always....Huh. I need them but don't want to spend the money if they don't work well

Mine work amazingly well.Audiologist does extensive testing and has to calibrate them to your particular hearing loss to match the decible range where you are deficient in each ear.
I wear them all the time since I got them.
Mine didnt cost anything-was covered by workers comp.(Railroader 36 years)My hearing loss is job related.
Also got a fairly large permanent disability one time payout.
