She hit the nail on the head. Release wolves and eliminate the need for hunting to control big game. When the deer elk and bison have been severely curtailed and wolves have no choice but eat livestock, why thats good too. Eliminate bovine flatulence. Go green. Go vegan. When they prey on humans thats good too as humans are a parasitic species destroying mother earth

Actually, there is lot of truth in this statement since this is how the wacko liberal greenies think.

Yep. Exactly the point I was trying to make

In MN, I have been to a couple meetings with the DNR regarding wolves. There were people at the meeting stating that they had dogs and other pets killed by wolves that had invaded their property. A sheep rancher living in northern MN had most of his sheep wiped out by wolves. Wolves who were once something you rarely saw, or if you did it was a fleeting glance. Not so anymore. I sold the 120 acres I had in northern MN as the deer population and small game animals we enjoyed hunting were almost non-existent.

When there was a limited open season on wolves for hunting and trapping, the quota was filled in no time which was not surprising. However, a lady judge from, I believe it was from the state of Maryland, put an end to that. There has been no open season on wolves since. Trappers and hunters asked the question, "What does a judge on the east coast know about the damages wolves are causing in our state or have the right to tell us how to manage the problem?" This should be left up to the states to decide whether or not to hunt or trap wolves.

I have always believed that animal rights zealots , were the beginning of the liberal left of today.
Everything hurts their feelings , and they want to stop all use of any animal.
Hate their tear jerking commercials , always the worst example and the cutest puppies and kittens.
MSM in total control.

Exactly

Agree 100%. I got drawn the 2 seasons for trapping. Before the wolves could come back through the season was done because quota had been reached.

Everything you said made sense until you got to the final sentence. When you say left up to the state to decide, in Minnesota that means our Governor Waltz.

If you look back on my post, I've been saying this for years. It does not matter the State, our DNR's have gone full on left. For example, when apex predators get full on protection with zero management, that's not our DNR's doing they're job, that's an agenda.

I believe what Danny said as true but there's more to it. It's about gun control. We all started out as shavers and our Daddy's took us out in the woods. How hard is it now to get a yougin hooked on the outdoors when the game isn't there? You can't get a kid interested if there's nothing there. Less people hunting, less guns.

Also, imo, it's about civil control. Most of us hunt, trap, fish, and our food supply is greatly supported from the outdoors. I personally don't think they like that and that's why everything is being setup to be bird watchers, hikers, kayakers, and not support ourselves but let them support us. We need to stop it. We need to get heavily involved with our DNR's and try to reverse it. If you don't see a pattern against our way of life, imo, your not paying attention.

Sx3! We have a nature center near here that only has native animals. At the gray wolf pen there is a factoid sign that states "the last gray wolf in NC was killed in Haywood county in 1898." I hope it stays that way.

Some of the coyotes here in Virginia are the size of a wolf.

In Oregon we have a game called " Odfw knows best "

You didn't see the wolf you just saw if it wasn't first documented by a government official

They try to convince the public that there are only a few small packs around the state and they are all accounted for , named , monitored , and managed . Just move along , nothing to see here

Way more wolves than the fake numbers we're given , and they are killing everything.

Exactly Gov. One way or another it's happening across the States. I truly believe we all need to step up. One if by land, two if by sea. Seriously, that's not a metaphor.
