Wolfdog91 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2013 Amite county Mississippi	Up here at the shop getting my car looked over and pretty happy to see they got some old Crocodile Hunter reruns playing on the TV. Man I miss what animal planet used to be , same with the history and discovery channels . Remember coming home and sitting around till around 6 for ole Steve to come on. Honestly one of the main things that got me so interested in trapping. YouTube expert

Leftlane "HOSS" Joined: Dec 2009 The Hill Country of Texas	Steve Irwin had an entertaining show, but I always worried that he was headed for a Timothy Treadwell type of reckoning. Ironically, when I was young Marty Stoeffers had a show called Wild America. I was told he was an anti so I made sure and harvested even more fur and game with his tips about specific species behavior and habits! If you ever get a chance, his movie (also called Wild America I think) is hilarious. ï¿½Whatï¿½s good for me may not be good for the weak minded.ï¿½ Captain Gus McCrae- Texas Rangers

warrior trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Georgia	Wild Kingdom was my show. Steve Irwin you just knew was got to get bit eventually. He did. Marty Stoeffer was better with cameras than he ever was with animals. His voice would put you to sleep.

LOL,,I doubt it.Back then our phone was on a "party line",,meaning when you picked up the phone,,someone might already be on it.Also,if you wanted to make a long distance call,you had to go through the Operator. the wheels of the gods turn very slowly

Old side kick wrestling a 15 foot African croc in a net and Marlin hovering above filming from the hellicopter it was funny. Loved that show. "Skin that smokewagon and see what happens"

Ole Marlin himself was in pretty good trouble when a 20' Anaconda got him out in some deep water and almost got the best of him.I thought his side kick Jim was gonna have to take that huge sheath knife he always wore and cut the snakes head off. the wheels of the gods turn very slowly
