I walked out of there with a helmet that cost me 3 days pay! I hate to admit it but, I chose not to wear it more than I should have. But it was my choice. Sold the bike and helmet when we started a family. "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,totally worn out,shouting... Wow-What a ride!"

AJE trapper A Joined: Jan 2016 WI - Wisconsin	It's interesting around here because almost every bicyclist I see wears a helmet but I see a lot of motorcyclists with no helmet. For me I guess it's just common sense and comfortable to wear a helmet. Last edited by AJE; 04/22/23 11:11 PM.

Fun Fact: I some areas on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines, its illegal to wear a helmet. One Officer was laughing and the other wrote him a ticket anyway. Wrote it for some BS thing about offending an officer ot Wasting his time or something. It was thrown out of Court. It was in the Charleston Papers. I thought it was funny. Evidently the one Officer did to!! God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

Law does nothing to protect the general public, so I think it should be operator's choice......then it is a self-correcting issue.
