I would like to thank all the Vets that served in Nam and on this day of of recognition of their service and to all the vets that served and fought in any war THANK YOU vets.

Just returned from the Veterans cemetery, a lot of Vietnam vets buried there.

YES!!! I just left the Legion and talked with some Nam Vets, one for quite a while, bought him a couple rounds. They are precious to me and have my heart. They kept us free and safe and answered the call from their Country. They are our Hero's. Thank you Nam Vets, you are appreciated, admired and loved. WELCOME HOME!

Times sure do change. Nowadays Vets come home as Hero's, when I came home we were "Baby Killers"!

Thank you for your Service Bob. I seen as a kid it was like that for you Hero's, but not all of us felt that way. In 71 my Cousin Ronnie was shipping off to Nam and my Parents threw him a big shindig at our house.

All showed up, his Parents and Siblings, all his Auntie's and Uncles and Cousins. At the end of the day we all made a long line and hugged him and wished him well. The adults sent him packages and we all sent mail. He made it through and we loved on him when he got back home. Just seen him two weeks ago at a funeral, he's good.

I know a lot didn't experience it like Cousin Ronnie and that will forever be a horrible stain. But, There sure are a bunch of us out there that flat out thank you and appreciate very much what y'all did for us.

Thanks for recognizing Viet nam veterans day. It brings back a lot of memories but usually I do not talk about them. I came home 57 years ago on march 10th laying on a stretcher. It was quite interesting for a 20 year old person.

Same here. It was 56 years ago this past February.

13 months in the hospital sure provides a guy with an opportunity to assess where he wants to go and what he wants to accomplish in life. It may seem odd, but the whole thing was an educational opportunity for me.

Had coffee this morning with 2 VN vets, phone call with another. Came home 53 yrs., ago. I'm 1 of the lucky, got out alive. H Co 75th Reg 5th BN LRRP 1st Cav
