With turkey season right around the corner, here are a few pictures to get you turkey hunters fired up. This tom showed up a few weeks ago, and spends all day in my yard trying to get the attention of my hens. At first he was scared of me, but now he's fairly tolerable of my presence and knows the sound of the feed bin when I open it. He comes up when I feed and will eat if I throw something out for him. Sometimes he roosts in a cottonwood tree in the yard, other times he sleeps in another cottonwood a little further out. He is not on the menu. He can stay as long as he wants.

Went to town a few days ago heading down the interstate about to cross the Missouri River bridge 5-6 bird fly across the highway the guy ahead of me was lucky he missed a couple of them. Had he been driving a taller truck he would have smacked a few.

Came back a different way seen several more working a hillside area.

Great pictures!!! Op I hope you don't mind if I add some more turkey porn to your thread. A few pictures from the last few years when I'm there working at the ranch in the spring. I like to take the call and call them in when I'm there in the spring. I have set up a spotting scope and when they come in I take a few pictures.

Semi-flying rats, should be able to get a nuisance license for them. Great photograph! Not disparaging the contributor just the varmint
