Republicans have complete control, and they've done some good things this session. But today they came up with a bill that would make it illegal for anyone under 18 to have a social media account. Seriously. Clearly it's time for these guys to go home for the year.

That's not exactly what the bill says. Those under the age of 18 would need parental consent to make profiles on certain social media platforms. Even some Dems are in favor of some types of protections for minors on social media, although they don't think parental involvement is needed.

Interesting. What I said is what I heard on the radio. Obviously not the entire story.
Parental control of kids and social media is the key. No law needed for that.
