Why would they do that if Jesus was not indeed resurrected from the dead? Not a single eye witness is on record as recanting.

I just spray painted the flatbed trailer that I am going to get rid of to get the dump trailer. its getting a second coat on Sunday and should be day glow black by lunch time

Incorrect, not one of the four gospels, acts, romans or any other new testament writing mentions the one singular historical event of the first century that would've been known to, and of extreme importance to, every Jew and Christian. The fall of Jerusalem and destruction of the third temple in 70AD. Meaning the entire New Testament canon was complete within the lifetime of the eyewitnesses.

An event, BTW, fully and independently documented by both Roman and Jewish sources.
