I have a heritage 22 revolver that I’ve used on the trap line a while now and I’m having some issues with the firing pin I was looking at Ruger single six in stainless just wondering if they’re good for that or should I look for something else. My Ruger Single Six has been serving me very well for about 40 years now.And it is a work gun,,not been babied.

Ruger wrangler!! Very well made at a lower cost. I always felt why pay alot of money for a trapline gun that is going to be used in bad weather mud etc. Higher quality without the expense. JMO Agreed! I think you will like the Wrangler.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned S&W’s. I am on my second 34-1, this coastal country is hard on metal, and the 17-4 is about as good of a shooter as I have found.
