Yes it was a good game and well played. I remember reading the posts where some posters stated why would anyone watch a bunch of "subpar" athletes play. Now they need to focus and get ready for LSU which will be a similar team in size and style to South Carolina. Iowa did not shoot 3s well and really lost in the rebound arena but created some nice drives and cuts in the paint.

Obvious size advantage for South Carolina, but the skill set of Iowa, there game plan, and execution was fun to watch.

Digger that was my exact comparison, Larry Bird. I am not a bball person but I was like wow several times last night. Always fun watching David take down Goliath.

I watch little basketball these days, but when you watch Bird highlight reels , that girls tenacity ,shooting and passing is very similar.

I have been kind of addicted to women's basketball for some time now. They tend to play the game with a purity and passion that can be lacking in the men's game.

Yes and a little foot stomping, whining and temper tantrums, along with a cat fight now and then. It's definitely got a different feel to it.

Bernie, the same or worse can be said for men's sports as well. That's both college and pro.
