Anyone use them or have the Banish 30? They’re having a special through OnX Elite members and about to pull the plug unless someone has anything bad to say.

I bought the Banish 30 from them. The transaction and process went smoothly. The only downside is it took 14 months to get it. It's not their fault, they have to wait on the feds to wade through the paperwork.

Set aside a years wait time and you’re good to go. Great company, I even sent them 2 barrels to thread.

The time suck is the worst part, the company is good. I buy from them while on vacations because I like the kiosk vs. the local process. The purchase and receiving the bought item should be simpler for anyone in the lesser 48.

I bought the Banish 30 from them as well. The process was clean and smooth but the wait was 11 months. The time wait should be falling a little as they get caught up on the paper apps but it's still a little slow. Good people to work with though.

I have a banish 30 and really like. I will say hindsight being what it is, I would have ordered the banish 223.

Just to make it clear, the wait time is the fault of the ATF.

Well guys I pulled the trigger today. OnX had a deal with Silencer Central that elite members get their tax stamp free ($200 off) so I gave them a call. Spoke with a guy named Travis and he sent link a to forms that needed completed and we discussed everything I could think of. Waiting on the finger print to get here hopefully before I leave next Saturday. They set up a trust in which I put my sons name. Seamless ordering and calls.
Picked up a new rifle today just for the suppressor too. Gonna put my thermal on a Ruger American Predator .308. If I don’t like it I can always swap it over to one of my AR’s. Wanted something relatively light weight I can control without a tripod. Now hopefully by this time next year I’ll be shooting a lot quieter at night, lol.
Thanks for all the reply’s and recommendations.

How long does the promotion last?

Might be a good idea for me to change my onx membership level.

Well, I found it, ends today, been on for a month. Grrr.

I've been seriously contemplating a Banish 223, that would motivate me enough to do it.

First question, did you go caliber specific and is their a decibel difference to the better if you do versus ordering one that covers a range of calibers?
Did they discuss the cleaning of the one you ordered?
Good choice on the Rifle Wanna…. A good guy here advised I grab one of those in a .223 which I did. The accuracy is second to none. That little rifle will make bug holes at 100 yards all day long. Your gonna like yours if you haven’t shot it already.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Osky, the Banish 30 covers everything from 17HMR to 300WinMag. I wanted something I could swap around if I wanted. They did recommend the Banish BackCountry I believe it was. It’s a smaller version and lighter weight if you’re doing a lot of hiking. I’m just gonna use it for night hunting. Decibel levels were less on the back country but still hearing safe.
Yes, I ordered a cleaning kit and an adapter incase the threads aren’t all the same on all the rifles. There’s videos on taking apart the suppressor and cleaning. Based on my conversation with them I’m sure I could call and they’d walk me through it step by step. Ole boy told me to save his number and feel free to call or text anytime.

I found that even with a suppressor the .308 recoils just enough to make it uncomfortable to use a thermal scope.

What does that mean? You can’t stay on the target after the shot?
