The Headquarters of McDonalds will be closed this week while it prepares for a Country wide Lay off due to a slowing economy!!! I though Hair Sniffer claimed the economy was great!!! Now we all know he would not lie now don't we!!! (SARCASM) shocked I thought Demonrats claimed that Fast Food was a Career!!! Odummy did. So did Hitlary when she told us Coal Miners she was going to put us out of work!!!

When it cost 35 to $40 to grab something bfor the family when we are out I opt to go to a Mexican restaurant for the same price if everyone drinks water. We get better less processed food. McDonald's loses the business.
Direct result of the crazy inflation.

The next option is run in the grocery and grab things to make sandwiches. Cheaper yet.

Wonder how long it will be before 30% of our business are out of business?

I usually lay out a few Deer Steaks or thaw a Ham or a Roast the night before. That way I have leftovers for work. Back when I was growing up Fast Food was for kids to get a Job through the summer or after school. It was NEVER considered a Career.

Mcdonalds meal is $11-12 now and it's usually not all that "fast" which means it's no longer convenient.

Went into a Mcdonalds for the first time in a long time and the trash was overflowing onto the floor, just a mess in general, burgers aren't very large, seems like I'm still hungry after, it's just not appealing anymore.

We used to get Fast food at work often, I would buy for the crew. Now I tell everyone to pack snacks because the food is slow to arrive and to expensive when it does.

I am sure NBC will figure out a way to tell us this is Trumps fault

In Biden's defense (I know, not like me to defend Biden), It's not really a lie if you believe it yourself. There's no way he knows if the economy is up, down or sideways. He's only repeating what the handlers are telling him. Which tells you a lot about his handlers, having no problem sending him out to further embarrass himself by making a statement everyone can clearly see is false. Although, you do need to be somewhat self-aware to even be embarrassed.

At work when we dropped we would put a big Cast Iron of Chili on the Power Center. By lunch it is nice and Hot for everyone.

Maybe all this layed off can learn to write code?
What are we supposed to do with all these illegals who HAVE to be allowed to overrun our border because we don’t have enough workers, to do the jobs that people are being layed off from?

I’m obviously confused.

Wife and I were just saying the same thing.Might as well stop somewhere like Olive Garden and get a halfway decent meal for about the same money.

I don't eat there anymore. It's cheaper to eat at a sit-down mom and pop place, and better food, than to eat at most fast food places now a days.

Pretty much the way I feel about them. I always say I could probably starve to death in a McDonald's parking lot, that's how disgusting their food is.

that's just it I got out of the Mexican place I took the wife to Friday for 24.75 and I gave her a 5 dollar tip on a 19.75 dollar bill

a beer for me $4
water for the wife (her choice)
salsa and chips looks like they put it on as a $0.76 service fee
wife ordered guacamole app $2.99
we shared a chimichanga with shrimp $9.49 + 1.49 extra for shrimp = 10.98

just don't eat like we used to , so sharing a good meal is better option

I HATE eating in my truck , if I never do that again after Covid , I didn't like it before covid. I want to sit down and relax and not try and balance everything

pork chops is a fairly cheap fast meal here
2.49 a pound typically at the pig
add a bag of steam in bag vegetables and have supper for 4 for about 8-9 dollars

the pig is 1/4 mile closer than MDs and I can cook a pork chop in the about the same time as it takes to sit in the drive through line and I enjoy it a lot more

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

G I wonder if that $15 per hour starting wage has anything to do with the cost increase that lead to business decrease that is leading to lay off?

I know conspiracy theory that action have direct reactions and poor choices have negative consequences.

Luckily, if these people that are getting laid off, know how to show up for work on their own on time, they should be able to find a new job in a short time.
