You can shoot one for around 2k in the fall at one of the Ranches. If you can handle the buctchering yourself it's not a whole lot more than a Beef.

Non resident bull 4402 dollars, cow/calf 2752 dollars Cheryl is not a guide as a job just a heck of a hunter and a local and that’s what a good guide is

Montana has a drawing for non resident Buffalo hunters. I think the tag is still around 1250.00

There was a guy advertising on Craigslist but I don't see the add now. There is an add in Wisconsin for 2-5 year old cow bison for $1,300. I imagine a 2-3 year old Cow would be great eating.

Always wanted to kill a bison with a bow. Never knew it was that cheap.

I could probably get you a hunt for a certified black angus for $2200 if that’s what ya consider hunting…. Free ranging even, on a 160 acres of native pasture to boot…. Lol

Its about as much of a hunt as waiting for one to cross an imaginary line coming out of the park. Canada has some real Bison hunts, someone just posted one last week. All the U.S hunts seem like a joke.

If I get some fence up and a walk in cooler built I will have my own certified Angus hunts.

Those bison told me they identified as Buffalo.
