How far this dirt traveled in the Colorado low that moved through northern ontario yesterday.
It was on the snow for about 20 km on my way home from work. Pic is not to good.

I was thinking maybe the Midwest plains states. Saw on the news about a large dust storm in Texas. Maybe? If so that would have come 3000 miles north.

330 was trying to get a good shot of the dirt. Is there dry farmland in your area where this might have come from. I am working in Dubrevil ontario so this is U S soil. Makes me wonder how much actually got caught up in the storm and from where it originated.

The storm came up from the south west probably right over your area high winds with it.

I have bare fields in southern WI

on a map draw a line from Madison WI to WaWa Ontario our tornados and wind have been tracked parallel to that

March 31 we had a F1 tornado and there were 3 tornados in green county more near by , then again this week in adjacent counties

tornados lift the dirt and debris high up into the jet stream we have had mail come down 30 miles away that we could identify the origin of by address

when an uncles neighborhood 15 miles from my parents was heavily damaged by a tornado it rained Styrofoam pellets from the pink and blue board that those houses had been built with on my parents town

the 3/31 tornado lifted a friends feed wagon right off the front wheels leaving the front wheels , post and tough where it was parked and took the wagon for airborne ride before dropping in and it rolling several times I believe they said air born 50 yards then rolled further , but lifted strait off that front axel post
