Got to hit the sack Amigo. Have to go to to that crapshow Austin tomorrow morning. So bad now, no matter what time I leave, I'm gonna hit traffic and raging hippies!

And to think all that took place on a Wednesday. Lord have mercy for the HOLIDAY WEEKEND that's coming.
Enjoyed the music by Cody Murrow...bar scene got old for me quick ...too expensive for a poor boy. Found
ways to still have fun with family and friends... just got smarter. Looking back on those bar days I can say
I was very lucky back then as I feel most of us were. One bad experience could have changed a lot in our lives.

... put some good TC from that time in here .. I’d say up to 2008 or thereabouts…we’ll keep this thing running for the rare chance a yankee might learn something

… I might as well start lol

Savell, you remind me very much of the weather beat old cowboy that came up to me after Sunday sermon in La Vernia one time, and proceeded to tell me ("help me understand" is how he T'd it up) about how Texas was sightly above Heaven in the scheme of God's things. He said he could prove it, if'n my Yankee eyes could see properly, which he said was.... impossible.

The old boy was laying it on thick as coon grease when all of a sudden from the foyer came a shrill voice....
"John Franklin!!!" "You come on!!!!"

And then I watched that old fart, tough as nails as he thought of himself, fold like a 2 dollar tent and head for the door in a "NEW YORK" hot minute once Mrs. John Franklin gave thee order.

So fool yourself into who rules your roost. For real. It's mama my friend.
And don't think for a northern lights minute it ain't.

Now go fold your tent up and put it away nice like.... till the next time mama says you can go out and play nice with your friends.

grin laugh

I graduated in 98 .

I think the gal in that song is a little to rough for me. But at least she is not a spitter so she has some class. No one likes a lady that spits it's rude.

Nessy,
You gotta be fixin' to appreciate these fine melodies with their real life narratives.
Dontchaknow, these songs are the "real" "Days of our Life" drama series and they endure finer than any soap on TV.
And if you're not fixin'... then you are correct, none of it makes sense. Goats won't matter much. Roped or free range.

Blessings,
Mark
