Walked down the creek fishing few days ago, came across some Mexicans cooking something in a skillet over a fire in a BURNING TIRE!!!

Guess enough hot sauce would cover that up!

Nice skillet Kevin. Griswold #10 large block logo from around 1920 to 1930. Very desirable and will be a beauty to cook in.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Gotta love a Griswold I have a couple. Most of the time I use my Fields sometimes Lodge depends what I cooking. I cant help but to think of the history when I use the Griswolds. I can date them to is the 1920s. Makes you wonder who and what fine meals where cooked on them. Many holidays I suppose. I use my BSR a lot too. No teflon here.

None here either. I love the history too and thinking about the families they were with and the good food they had. I'm the same way with my old lanterns.

Old cast iron and old traps go hand and hand. Its about the history. Their is a skill to learn on how to cook and season them. You can tell people that dont have the skill because they buy non stick. If you know how to season them you can use cast iron and carbon steel never wearing them out.

Women like Cast Iron. They use it to keep the Hubby's in check. They have a nice ring to them when they use them.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

I'm kind of partial to BSR considering I grew up in the same county where they were made.
