Wife was sitting on the deck last night and recorded this. She said it was doing it for awhile. Sounds like an owl to me.

Barred owl call is usually the "Who cooks for you." Didn't hear that. Some other kind of owl I think.

They are territorial but can be pushed out by great horned owls, their primary predator.
