The age of consent in KS is 16. Thats young enough. Problems arise when two high school kids get together. One is 15 the other 18. Should that put the 18 year old on the sex offender registry and in prison? I don't think so. The 45 year old step dad? Without a doubt. what about a 15 year old with her big sisters ID. Enough make up on for a maybeline commercial in a bar. Willingly goes home with a 27 year old man, is he a crimminal?
