I watched that video. Wow!!! I thought it was a joke right up until he shot it. Do you think anyone actually has hunted with that cartridge? No way I'd ever shot that thing.

They shot elephants with 4 bore rifles and black powder in the 1800's. I can't remember where the guy lives that makes those things. Sounded like so far he has only built 4.

No. These guns are shooting smokeless and a lot more energy than the old 4 bores. i seriously doubt there are any SAAMI specs on them and brass has to be custom made. Probably bullet molds too.

If the 50 blowing up didn't kill him he has to go bigger. I don't see that being useful for me. Has to be nfa as a destructive device and still won't penetrate steel like a ap .50 cal.

I have shoot a couple elephant guns. The first time it was a double rifle, hurt pretty bad. was not expecting that much recoil. second time, a 375 R.U.M. I used better form. about 20 rounds in all. left me sore but not awful. I dont think good form would help a lot with that one loaded to potential.
