My neighbor says donít till it in until itís at least 8Ē hi . Better for vegetables?

When I use it for my cover crop, I till it in when it is convenient for me. Sometimes it's 8-10" other times its 6-8" or so. I don't take a tape measure out there to check it, I just terminate when I'm ready.

It's a good green manure crop. Turn it over when the spirit moves you.
