Why settle for half??
This leaves nothing but questions/doubts Nobody settles for less than they want. They ask for double what they want and settle for half of that number. You know like the retail sale after Christmas.Jack the price up 30% for Christmas then "slash" it by 20% on Boxing Day. I thought you were busy everyday trapping. I had no idea now your a legal expert, councellor!

So what’s going to be the outcome when Dominion faces a real suit that proves that they in fact altered voting outcomes? They won't because they won't allow it to be heard in court. That's why they sue for billions so everyone will settle out of court! Not one single judge has seen the evidence because they would have to agree with Trump.

No argument about government having unlimited resources but it wasn't government suing Fox.
I think it was a smart decision on the part of Fox and Dominion to settle this.
If it had gone to SCOTUS..........almost any decision would have been less than ideal.
If Fox had won, it might have encouraged media outlets to be even less careful with the truth than they are today.And that's really saying something.
If Dominion had won it would absolutely encourage more frivolous lawsuits against media outlets for any perceived slight.
Also the multiple millions more in legal expenses would have been a no win situation for both parties.
People mention "compelling evidence" but I have yet to see it. I wish I could but so far no credible source has produced any that I have seen.
Maybe you can point me in that direction. True about government not suing Fox, but I wholeheartedly believe they would use their influence and pull out every stop to ensure that Dominion got the result that was favorable for the government.

Do you have access to evidence the rest of us don't? Yes I do. There isn’t any judge or the justice department that has allowed a look at the evidence of what the machines did!

What Government would allow proof of voting machine rigging? How would that work out, you going to have another election? Biden got in and that's it ,he and everyone else knows it. The US . can't admit that there was any slight of hand as it would call the whole system in to question. Exactly, and now they intend to hold it.
