I'm finally seeing rain in the forecast next week. We need(ed) it bad.

Y'all think it's actually going to happen? Wheat is dying. Ponds are dry.

I can't remember the last time we had a good rain!

Not sure I believe them.

Another dust bowl?

I doubt it, but we have had some pretty good wind storms this year that moved a lot of soil.

I in southeast kansas 20 miles north of Okla line 90 miles north of tulsa. I have ever seen it this dry in my 68 years ponds are dry or very little water in them.Lakes 2 to 6 foot low.Ranchers are selling cattle out of grass and water.I know it dry west of me hope it changes.

I feel for you. Several of our local Forest Rangers are out in Western Oklahoma trying to help out with the range fires.

I am not too far north of Len. We had rain and snow starting in December and everything here is full. We were dry before but not nearly as dry as south of us. We have been in a dry pattern for a week or two. Below the surface is pretty dry again.

It’s so dry here. I’m really hoping next weeks rain comes through. It’ll take a lot more to put a dent in the drought but I’ll take any rain I can get. We’ve forgotten what it’s like to get rain
