I thought a gun is never a dangerous object. It by itself is just an object. The person with the gun is what’s dangerous. Right?

A school book is a potentially dangerous object to some.

Just the right amount of whelm.

He was handed a REAL gun, he knew it was a real gun. He pointed a real gun at a person and pulled the trigger. when you hand a REAL gun to a person, you always "open and show clear", as you receive the gun you check it as it is handed to you.

His innocence was decided right away and the narrative was shaped to that. Just like Trump's guilt was decided already for the nyc trial and they will shape that narrative to that outcome..this is what the government does.

I'm not a baldwin fan at all.

HOW??? Baldwin FIRED him!!! Baldwin Fired him because he was too strict on the Bullets being Monitored on the set!! BALDWIN FIRED HIM and his parting words were that you idiots are going to kill someone. He was an NRA certified instructor and he was right!!!

I totally agree that you never point a gun at another person (or the dog, cat or cows) even if you are 100% sure it is unloaded--unless you intend to shoot the person, dog, cat or cow. Even if you removed the bolt or other crucial mechanism. I would vote this is Rule Number 1.

But this was a movie set. In every western, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, John Wick and an almost endless list of movies, guns are pointed at other people. I love those movies. How could they have made this scene, for example, without violating Rule Number 1? Serious question. I get that they use blanks, special effects and all but I am watching real humans point real guns at each other.

I know a lot of y'all hate Baldwin because of his politics, but be careful vilifying a guy or guys that made a mistake with a firearm. The gun grabbers love this infighting.

If anything, it was plain old negligence.

The other movies used PROP GUNS!!! NOT REAL ONES!!! Also when your Movie set NRA Instructor walks off because you allow real Bullets on the set then you have issues and that is directly involving Baldwin. You should learn TAB> Every hunter safety class preaches it. For the very reason that Baldwin did. Baldwin used real Bullets which should not have been on the set and used PROP guns which were not on the set either. Ignorance is not a defense!! YOU should know that!!!

I understood it to be wanna be gunman, Baldwin. He hates what he wants to be, in his dreams, the most. Acting in all the real men, masculine parts every time. Knowing he will never equal a gnat on a bull's horn in par with expert military men , and others . So he plays big shot on his sets. That's why so many quit working for him.

He brought live ammo to the set and wanted to show off shooting targets, or whatever, between video takes.

I doubt seriously that anyone else took it upon themselves to bring live ammo to a movie set.

Baldwin is to blame for it all.

EXACTLY!!!!

Remember everyone!!! According to Baldwin he was not the guilty one!! It was all the guns fault!!! Anyone supporting Baldwin supports that the gun was alive and went off by itself. You have to POINT the LOADED gun at someone and then PULL the trigger to shoot someone. According to Baldwin the gun did this all on its own. I am sure Lawyers will agree with him. Heck they may even want the gun to testify!!! He shot and Killed the woman from his own Incompetence and Ignorance as well as his abuse of the sets rules. NO LIVE AMMO was too much for Baldwin and he killed a woman because of his own arrogance. Sharon was dead on!!!
