One big grizz. Where would you put a bear rug this size? The skin was 10 feet wide and 9 feet long, the bear weighed approximately 1,000 pounds. Shot by GCF Dalziel east of Dease Lake, British Columbia on October 5, 1956. Amazing stuff.

I can't see the action but that appears to be either a model 54 or 70 Winchester. Very cool!

I helped measure a hide a friend took around Nome. Same size. 10 wide, 9 long. Skull we measured at 25 in.
