I have this watch , I have had it 30+ years it is an older Bulava made in japan , taken it to a bunch of shops over the years , for the longest time this was an easy task while I was checking for tools at sears I would hit a Jc Penny watch counter and typically for less than 10 dollars they would put a new battery in it for me , I think I have had a few bands also over the years.

well , with not so many clock and watch stores around any more , I had used a jewelry store last time it needed one I think it was 20 dollars

for 16 I ordered a set of cheap watch tools to remove the back and got a 5 pack of energizer batteries same as what was in it

now the hardest part of this after watching a few YouTube videos was getting my wife to hold the magnifying glass still while I worked on it . I know I used to be able to see stuff that small, heck 25 years ago I was cleaning surface mount soldier joints with out the microscope.

well , I need to get my old bench mount magnifying glass with lamp out of storage and get a new bulb in it , I think I may start needing it more

I am hoping my new glasses help when they get here any day.

also good lord when did watches get so expensive , I admit this was a gift so I have no idea what it cost but I wouldn't have thought that much.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
