Funny how my step mom got her liver transplant within 6 months or so. Myself I would not have given her the liver since she destroyed her originally equipment with prescription drugs. She also had hepatitis C and kidney issues.

But she got the liver, the 30k hep c treatment and is still kicking. Kidney levels are high and the anti rejection drugs are bad for that.

Don't ask me how a nearly 60 year old woman with all Her issues vs a young person but she did. So some how the system is broken?

It seems that state is only giving organs to good citizens who do what they are told to do...oregon right? About what a person would expect from them. There is no criteria that I know of in Ks for organ donation, just have them note that your a donor on your driver license.

I will never mark done on my license. I don't trust them not to wright me off early in exchange for all the $ signs. Once I'm gone for sure they will ask about organ donations weather I'm marked for parting out or not. No since giving them the green ight to early. I never understood why people would chose to have that marked on there license.
