I'm thinking on getting a 204 caliber bolt action . But I would prefer a wood stock (old school) What would you all recamend ? Im really not a fan of synthetic stocks. Thanks in advance.

Savage 12, or 25. Or possibly Sako 85, depending on budget. They all will shoot.

I recently bought a Ruger American, Predator. Like you said I prefer wood, but the Ruger stock fits me very well. It is a 204 and they can be hard to find. I also have a Colt AR and Kimber Varmint in 204 and like the round. Roy

You can get nice aftermarket wood stocks for pretty much any gin these days. So but the rifle you want, then get a wood stock for it afterwards. Its probably the more cost effective way to go as well.

ruger makes their hawkeye in a walnut stock 204 ruger probably have to order one
a CZ 527 , but I don't thing they do 204 ruger
why 204 ruger , it makes finding a rifle a bit harder especially one with a wood stock as most people are looking for durable and light in a predator gun in 204 , quite likely toss in camo
if you jump up to a 243 being a short action and people want them for deer and such wood stocks get more common
a mini action in wood and 204 gets harder
a Tikka T3 xlite in 204 would get you everything but wood
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I've got a cz in 204 ruger but can't recall what model. It is a beautiful rifle and very accurate.

I have a CZ 527 in 204. Shoots really well. It does have a feeding issue out of the magazine. Don’t know if that’s a common thing. It shoots well enough that I put up with it! Does yours have the set trigger? I've only shot a box or 2 thru mine and never noticed any feeding issues.
