Always a sad day when those with a strong presence in our industry passes on. Nick was a friend and an early pioneer in the trade. Sympathies to his family and RIP.

Sad to hear this. I always enjoyed reading the informative books that he put out. There is some history and knowledge in the pages of those guide books about lure making and some other related items. I purchased some of his horse meat bait around 20 years ago. Another good one gone. RIP Nick.

So sorry to hear. I met Nick at a mini convention a few years ago, he was a pleasure to talk to and had a wealth of information. May he rest in peace.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Sad to see another legend leaving us. Rest In Peace.

The state of PA has a long term history of some great trappers and people in the trapping industry .Nick Wyshinski would be in that group of people .While I did not know him his name and lure making have been connected for decades

RIP Nick. Milligan and I were traveling to Rutland Vt, to the NTA Convention, and decided to visit Nick, since we were going right past his town. We walked up to the front door, knocked and introduced ourselves, and Nick said, “trappers are always welcome here”! He was a very kind and decent man, and will be missed!

RIP. Great man and so knowledgeable. Enjoyed many conversations with him in the past.

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.
