Do you know what hospital is refusing to perform the surgery? Bad PR goes a long way. Of course from some of the comments on this post it seems some wish for his death since he didn't comply. For those types it would be good for public relations.

There is likely nothing stopping the person from going to mexico,india,china or any number of other countries that harvest and barter in human organs sold by desperate people for a price,or taken from executed prisoners by the gubmint.I doubt they would care what the long term outcome would be for the person as long as they pony up the shoonyan.
Good old capitalism dontcha know.
You all need to strive for such a system.

There are certainly valid reasons someone might be refused a new kidney, but not having the jab isnt one of them. Im still amazed there are people who still believe in it after all thats come out. Some real stupid people out there...

Unfortunately he's been taking pain killers for years to be able to function working 6-7 days a week . He's a workaholic

Those pain killers ruined his kidneys and at the same time masked any symptoms so he didn't know until too late

It's probably the higher ups at the medical system making these decisions. The Dr and staff probably don't really care if he's vaxxed or not.

Sadly he has 3 options.

1 is to get the jab.
2 is to find a different hospital system to do the transplant.
3 is to not do anything.

Your friend has a 100% chance of death without the transplant. Some chances are worth taking in life.

I had kidney cancer about four years ago and lost a kidney. In spite of four Covid vaccines and a very mild case of Covid last July, I am doing just fine. Had colon cancer also. Had some colon removed so thatI might survive to an older age.

I dont think thats the point. The point is that requiring someone to take the jab before theyget medical care is wrong. My brother in law died last spring from Kidney cancer. His oncologist said he had never seen such an aggressive cancer and his thoughts were that the double jab had lowered my brother in laws immune system so much that he didnt have the ability to fight it...

One thing that covid taught me was how many closet nazi's are out there. When times are good you don't really see the true person but once life gets tough the masks come off and you see the evil that was just incognito........................

I have End Stage Kidney Failure and have to do dialysis a few times a week, it works OK for me, I get to do it at home which is nice because it's a 2 hour drive to get to the dialysis center. One thing I've found is that not all transplant centers are the same, the one that I am signed up ( I have put myself on hold though) with doesn't require the clot shot from either patient or donor, they're in Spokane (there's no transplant hospitals in Montana) . Tell your buddy to check around, he doesn't have to be stuck with just the one center.

There are a whole host of "jabs" products and procedures that one must do to be able to receive the kidney other than the COVID 19 vaccines that we choose to use as political science fodder. Will he not do the other required procedures or just that one?
