had a single cylinder Kohler in a lawn tractor that had a sticking exhaust valve.
When mowing in hot weather the engine would all of a sudden quit. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then all of a sudden you'd hear a loud "PING" as the the valve would let loose.
Added MMO to the gas for the next couple of tank fulls. Never had the issue since then.

Try dipping you fish bait in it and see if they like it. Maybe it will loosen up some froze shut mouths.

Funny, back in the day we would soak our soft plastics bodies in WD-40 fishing for walleyes on the St. Clair river.
