Hi all,

I am currently located in NE Florida and I am looking to part with my trapping gear and trying to figure out the best way in order to do so. It would consist of traps, snares, hardware, fur prep, stretchers & everything else I used to trap & prep fur. I have no problem putting together a list or providing pictures but I wanted to see if there was an individual that may be known for buying bulk. The gear has been accumulated from all over for the past 35 years from the east, south-east, mid-west, AK etc . Any advice would be appreciated

You can sell it in what ever way best suits you All of it for one sum of money or separate it into a dozen of similar types of gear and sell it a little bit at a time .Do some research on what you have Some of it may be worth more than you would first guess .you could be holding a fair amount of money .But it might be a slow process dealing with it in small lots I have been downsizing quite a bit over the past 12 to 15 months .And while it can be a pain you might be surprised with how much some items are worth Be willing to sell at fair prices and you will likely get a good return on your effort to clear out items you not longer use Good luck .

Thank you for the response. I am certainly willing to sell at fair prices just to gain a chunk of real estate back in my garage lol.

I donated mine to the NPS. They signed an itemized receipt for full value. Tax deduction was better than selling at deep discount.

Tax laws have changed since 10 years ago. Might work for you.
