56 years and a few days. Almost three years ago. Not one regret.

Retired at 58. Made my wife go to work.

62 years for me. Then I waited until full retirement age before drawing S.S.
The coyotes & bobcats wish I was still working at the paper mill. Lol.

At 53 years of age. That was in 2005. Smartest move i ever made

53 if I knew it was this much fun I would have left at 50.

55, from power company. 17 years ago. Still farm a little.

I applaud you gentlemen with the saving power and jobs that payed well enough to retire early. By my calculations I was going to need $3 million saved to retire in my mid 50’s. I’m 55 and a little short, I’ll blame it on bad habits for not making that commitment, lol.

Well I'm 57 and own my own business. I take every Friday off. Don't work real hard as I have great people in place to do that for me. I leave whenever, check traps, turkey hunt as
I wish, deer hunt the same, spent a ton of time an hour away the past three years building my dream cabin. But my wife also has a really good job. So not real sure when I'll officially
retire, may just come in once a week and do the books but if I looked and found a good buyer that would take care of my employees I'd go tomorrow and do something else, been thinking
of making custom turkey calls or some taxidermy for some pocket cash?

I retired just before my 80th birthday. That was the end of the year. The frost is finally out and I'm trapping pocket gophers, cutting wood, building a new deer stand, fishing, etc.
It's a real change; not used to having free time on my hands.

Earlier I said I retired at 32.
In reality I have been doing whatever I want to do since I was 32. If you enjoy what you're doing, you'll never work another day in your life. I also plan to keep doing what I like to do until I croak.

45 the first time. Got bored really quick. Started a different business and stayed at that for 10 years before retiring for good.

I have less then 900 hours to go. Can't wait till that day comes! I

Planning on 58. 8.5 years to go.

That hurt to type. Although, I look forward to being busy doing the things I want to do.

46 the first time. 3 or 4 careers later I'm back to work. Sorta.

59 1/2 going 11/30/23 needed to be that age to draw money without penalty 401k plus I’m rolling my whole pension out for my control

Add 3 years
Offer 3 years salary
And add 3 years average to your pension

That will definitely get some folks out the door.
