Always remember when stockmarket is dropping there are people making money off it. Even now people are making money. Like I said I'm not a stock market guy personally. All I have is a Roth IRA and it's worth less than what I put in it. Still plan on making my contribution this year as well... See how smart I am. All I'm saying is you gotta first know what kinda risk you are willing to take. 5 percent interest on a CD is better than a huge loss by far and if that makes you comfortable do it. I'm better at losing money than making it lots of days. But everyonce in a while not doing normal things pays off. Kyle this is the first time in 36 years I haven’t been all in the stock market but I am hanging it up November 30 it’s time to play a little safe

Like many others, I'd purchase land. Currently, that would only buy about 9 or 10 acres, but I'd buy adjoining land for pasture (lowered taxation) and mainly to keep some rich Californian from building a mcMansion in my viewshed. On the other hand, I might buy booze and women with about $75,000 and just blow the rest.
Jack I suppose that depends on where one lives. You could get 40+ acres here for that, possibly with a house on it as well.
