Any markings on the bottom ?
For 20 bucks ..with a lid..you did ok

For 20 bucks ..with a lid..you did ok No nothing other then the two number #8's one being on the handle and the lid.

need to see the bottom to tell more but 20 dollars definitely worth that
a new lodge SK8 will run you 19.99
and lids as long as they fit matter little
that 8 looks like the 1910 era lodge font and placement , they made a lot of nameless pans for different stores back then , but the font tells you who actually made it
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

It has a heat ring...so definitely older.
Clean that bottom up...might have some clues

I'd say Lodge, mid to late 1930's. There were some no notch patterns reused around that time. Also, with the inset heat ring, no notch, V'ish handle the skillet could be a BSR, I don't think BSR used a raised number so I think they're both Lodge. Nice, look forward to seeing it stripped and reseasoned!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I think I have this same pan Salem, yours is a Lodge 3 notch post 1960. Nice!

Yup...any pan saying "Made in the USA" ..is dated 1960 or newah.
