With the pandemic as an excuse..they sizes of products are getting smaller..

What are some items you've noticed cost the same but are now smaller packages containing less product..I'm interested to know what yall have found costing more but Givin you less.

Coffee-Used to buy ground coffee packaged in a pound. Now the same-appearing package is 10-12 oz.

Remember ice cream used to actually be 1/2 gal now 1.75 quarts same price if not more

It's like dog food at places like Walmart and Tractor Supply the 50lb bag is now 40lbs but if you buy it at the feed store, which is cheaper anyway, it is still a 50lb bag

Canned vegetables was when first noticed it. Smaller cans same price. That was back in early 80's I think.

just about the time they convinced people the bigger package was the better deal , it started not being the case on everything

it was happening years before covid also

one thanksgiving my wife' aunt had realized when the went to the hunting cabin with new case of toilet paper that all the new rolls were a 1/2 inch narrower than the old rolls of the same brand , they only use a bout a case a year and bring one up before every deer season. if you didn't haev the two next to each other you might never notice

A 5 Lb block of Colby jack cheese is now 4 Lbs at Wallyworld. Plus a price increase.

Sprite recently did this when they went to the clear "green" bottles. I opened a clear sprite and notice it felt lighter I grabbed a green bottle sure enough green bottle was 20 oz clear bottle is 16.9 oz

Heck I remember when I was a kid the cereal boxes were the same size but there was less weight in the box,
