I live a part of North Dakota where to my knowledge ribbon leeches are not real prevalent. I have however found a slough which has quite an abundance of them. I put out some traps using beef liver as bait and so far, all I have been able to catch are small ones. Anyone know any tricks to catching larger ones or is it just a matter of sorting thru them. Would appreciate any input.

Check out YouTube on catching leeches. There's some good info there.

More and more when I go anywhere I find myself keeping track of where the nearest rest room is.

Early leeches can run small. Try again in a week. You will have to sort. For bait I use fish remains after filleting and catch all I need.
