I've always been interested in the connection between Neanderthals, Denisovans and us Sapien sapiens. With some pretty darn good science coming from the DNA sequencing light is beginning to be shed on these connections.
I remember an anthropology class I had back in the mid 70's and one of the questions our prof had for us was whether we thought it possible that our direct ancestors H. sapiens had ever interbred with Neanderthals. Science tells us that if indeed we classify neanderthals as a separate species then producing viable offspring should not be possible. Or like horses and burros; only produce infertile mules. There was about a 10,000 year overlap for H. sapiens and H. neanderthals on the European continent so the opportunity was there.
But through gene sequencing we now know that between 1-4% of our DNA has been contributed by Neanderthals. SO there was interbreeding. They didn't truly go extinct as once thought...our more numerous ancestors apparently just absorbed them into the gene pool! Ditto for Denisovans into the asian and south pacific gene pools where a small amount of Denisovan DNA is still found.
If any of this is interesting to you jump on in and give an opinion.

Posably Deman DNA ? Gen 6: 4 (There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that. When the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.)

I'm a young earth guy in these, my twilight years. The more I've witnessed amongst scientists in my 65 years, the more I've come to know the search for truth went out with the dinosaurs. I do indeed love and appreciate history.
Blessings, Mark

Interesting that there's so many different tracks to follow. Yet only one is the track you need to follow.

I think the predecessors of Noah (particularly in the Days of Jared) likely saw dinosaurs. I also think that earth was a very different place physically before the Genesis 3 curse; and certainly different again post flood.
So unfortunately, my opinion is irrelevant to the dogma of modern "science".
