Whew! That's a long haul to burn the powder from one TSS round.

To make that trip I'd need to stop in at least 2 other states and kill gobblers on the way up and then stop/kill gobblers at two different states on the return trip.

I need to make some contacts and try to pull that off b4 I get too old.

Lol.
They killed those 2 only 2 miles from ND.
Their wheels were turning also.
I have lots of contacts their but alas, they looked into it and it's a draw state.
Be kinda cool, shoot one, cross a bridge into another state and shoot another.

Sitting on my deck drinking a cold Yuengling beer Clay and Clint left (purdy good)!
Heard a gobbler sound off across the river a few minutes ago.

Beautiful evening here.

smile
Peacefull. wink

Was my thoughts also untill I met these guys.
They have a passion on what they like to do and it's apparent.

They traveled many hours to fulfill that passion.

Many can't understand why I sit in a portable treestandhung way back in a swamp bowhunting deer late season.
Many don't understand my a beaver trapper will bust their butts off for a low $$ return.
10 years ago, I entered high dollar coyote tournaments. Traveled many miles. Hunted days in absolute whiteout/blizzards. (Dangerous)conditions!!

We all have a passion we like. It may not be everyone's passion but as time goes by, I realize we are ALL the same in the pursuit.
Met 2 strangers, had a great time (even though shortly)

I hope they come back again.
smile
SwampWolf. Drive to Missouri and hitch a ride.

I agree with your comments Dave.
I live in one of the most premier whitetail areas in the country, and I could care less about hunting them. It just doesn’t trip my trigger, however I get the reason why folks are avid deer hunters, and I would never criticize anyone for pursuing whatever species that is their passion.

If I can call it or hunt it with a dog, I really enjoy it.

That Minnesota gobbler made 18 states that I’ve killed one in.
It’s about the trip, the hunt, and seeing and hunting in different types of habitat.
I’m not as mad at the gobblers as I once was lol.
I used to pile them up every spring. Killed a dozen plus every spring for many years.
Today it’s about going on a couple fun turkey trips with a good friend and having fun.
