I have a 2022 honda 700 pioneer with 485 miles on it, I was on a waiting list for a honda 1000 SxS. It just never came in and I settled for the 700. Well now the dealer calls with a camo honda 1000-3. So I need to sell my 700 within two weeks to go pick up the 1000. I have 17933 in the 700 with the extras I put on it and my four year warranty that started today after the the factory warranty expired. Now to the question: I'm going to price the 700 at 16000 firm. Will it sell within two weeks for that price? Should I ask more or is that about right? It's paid off and I have the title. Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

I called and priced new 700 4 seaters and they told me about 14600 out the door. Now that's not with the extras or warranty but for me those are not going to add any value to me personally. I can add what I want if I decide I want an add on and what you put on it may not be what someone else wants. Then again it may be exactly what someone wants and they jump on it.

So it depends on availability and personal preference and tast. They are both very nice machines .

Gotta shoot you straight here, sure the 1000 is bigger, more powerful & faster....But, I see you live in Tennessee where those thick eastern woods are.

The Pioneer 700 is a much better size to get into those narrow woods trails that will give the 1000 fits...The Pioneer 700 is a superior woods buggy with plenty of power...I would keep the 700 and slap a set of Maxxis Bighorns on it, and you have the perfect eastern trapping SxS, IMO.

Ky coyote hunter, you are right the 700 is a great machine. It gets around well where I hunt southeast KY, Virginia , and TN. I also have a sawmill and have been known to hook to things that need more horsepower in places the tractor can't go. I'm not dissatisfied with the 700 at all. sometimes I need the extra power. I was just curious about my asking price and prices in different areas.

Gotcha, hope you find what you need at a good price, and get a good price for your 700 as well.

In sure they have came up in price like everything else or maybe yours is the 2 seater and the 4 is a little higher.. I agree roof and windshield is nice but I found on most things they don't add but a small fraction of what they cost new to resale unless you find the right person at least in my experience. But I'm not a good sales man so there is that.

I think I was priced 22 to 24 k for the 1000 big horn edition( the only thing they sem to be able to get currently) that's to high for me I would just buy a Toyota 4x4 with heat and ac for that price. But that's just me

Put it on Craigslist and fb market place a litle higher than you want for it so you can come down and see if you have any luck in a few days you should get a feel for the market.

Thanks Providence Farm, I'm not much of a salesman either. My brother will put it on the different internet sites on Monday. I don't do any of the social media things. He sales alot of things via social media.

Well , sometimes you just gotta have more power . I get that .

Good thing is you should get top dollar for that 700 , being a Honda
